Snickerdoodles

Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Shortening
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1 & 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger
  • 1 Teaspoon Clove
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Molasses
  • 5 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
          Cream together shortening and sugar then add egg, molasses, and vinegar. Combine flour, soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and clove then add other mixture. Chill it for three hours. Roll thin on lightly floured surface, cut, sprinkle with sugar (or cinnamon sugar). Grease cookie sheet. Cook at 375 degrees for 3-6 minutes.

          And poof! You have snickerdoodles!
          Okay, maybe it's not as easy as 'poof', but this recipe is pretty easy to do.
